For many years Nonna Ciana has been sharing her expertise and passion with our guests and friends here at our farmhouse at Le Pietre Vive in the heart of Tuscany but right now the situation is making travel difficult so if you can't come to us we will come to you!

Would you like to learn how to make your own hand rolled tagliatellle, delicious fillled pastas or melt in the mouth home made gnocchi or amaze your family and friends with fantastic (and surprisingly easy) Italian desserts, just choose whatever you prefer and we will teach you how to do it all in your own kitchen.

Seamless experience with great communication and even better cooking class!

We had a great experience with Nonna Ciana and Heather. From the very beginning with Heather being very accommodating and answering all of our questions / concerns to the cooking class, the whole experience was seamless and easy. We did a private cooking class where we made a pepper bruschetta and tagliatelle in tomato sauce. We had a great time with Nonna Ciana and Heather as they explained to us how to make everything. The food came out incredible as you can see from the images below! Thank you Heather and Nonna Ciana. We hope to see you one day soon in Italy!

Excellent Gift Idea

100% recommend. We had a great time doing an online cooking course with Nonna Ciana. I booked this as a gift for my mom so we were calling in from 3 different time zones- Heather was very good and organizing a time that worked for everyone.
It's worth spending some time before the lesson starts to get your camera/screen set up and to make sure all your ingredients are ready (they send a list in advance). We found that we didn't use the full quantity of some of the ingredients- so don't panic if you can't find it all. Nonna packs a ton of stuff into 2 hours, be ready to cook! We did pasta dough, filling, sauce, and dessert all from scratch- it was amazing and delicious!
Nonna has a translator with her (Heather) and likes to check in so it's good if your camera is set up to see your work space or if you have someone that can move the camera around while you work.
After the course we were sent very detailed recipes (don't worry about trying to take notes!) and a bonus recipe that we can try on our own. It was a super fun experience, my family loved it, makes a great gift.
